I was driving to wok and my gas light kicked. Ok low on fuel. As I pulled in to the parking light my cruise light, SI drive light are flashing. Traction control and Check engine light are on. What has happened.

For (every) other car I read the code and that's what it was a CEL code.

Was it cold out? Have you replaced your intake manifold gasket yet? That could be the cause. Just reset the code and be on your merry way

I have that code but thats because my TMIC tabs blew and im waiting for a new one plus i have a vac leak from behind the manifold (subaru should really clamp those down) And i am only stage 1.
Code: P0171 bank 1 system lean
What you can first try is to clean your maf? If not that a smoke test. Thats how i found my leaks.

Check the code. A auto parts store will read it for free.
Tighten the gas cap.
