Needing a stereo kit to fit

I have a 2005 subaru legacy 2.5i. I have a double din boss bv9566bi cd dvd player. The problem is the stereo is just a bit to big for the stereo kit i purchased off of amazon. Is there anything i can do to make it fit? Or can i purchase a different one?(If so provide the link please i have been searching for awhile now.) i have included pictures of the dash kit and the model number to the radio. Thanks for all you help

All of the dash kits are going to have about the same size opening.. you may just have to take a dremel to it with a steady hand.

that should fit with no problem. the unit should be no more than 7in in width like most dvd HU's

Some of the cheaper brands make theirs larger. No idea why, nothing to brag about when its a pita to install
