2011 subaru legacy with cvt. Ive been searching the forums but can't seem to find this. Is the front differential intergrated with the cvt so you dont have to change the oil, cuz there is a drain but no fill

The front diff is not the CVT. Separate drain and fill; different fluids.

had posted the info in the past. I've deleted the drawings from the manual. Try searching in the 5th gen area with minuccims, CVT, and 70mm.

If you can't find the thread, let me know and I'll repost the info.

Ok, that did not work but here is from an older post:

Front differential oil Oil in use Subaru gear oil Extra S 75W-90 (GL-5)
Oil amount: 1.4 liters

Drain plug is on bottom of CVT (T70 plug labeled 'diff oil'). Fill through charge pipe. Don't believe there is a dipstick. You pull the overflow drain plug (beside the main drain plug) to determine when full.

I've got an engine oil change coming up in ~1500mi on my 2012 2.5i CVT. If I can find the front diff drain/fill, I'll post some pics.

The CVT drain & fills are straight forward. The drain is on the pan, the fill is up top on the trans case bell housing area, towards the firewall, pass side.
