i have searched the forums and watched videos and i have a haynes manual.

engine is out of car replaceing head gaskets and timing belt

im tring to set tdc and and align timing marks but it is pretty dificult to turn the crank.

am i forgeting something or am i just not putting enough into turning it but in the videos dosent look like a alot of effort is going into turning the crank.

i now how to work on cars but this is the first time ive worked on my subaru

another thing just noticed the engine stand i have it on some of the bolts are against the fly wheel is that causeing it not to be able to spin?

is this a question? it should be pretty clear if the flywheel is hitting something when you turn the crank.
