The trip was a fluke. Seller made note that the vehicle needed to be tuned. Well, it already had a tune in it according to my tuner.
Pulls better, especially at higher speeds.
I got funny looks with my bullet-proofed IC. I guess they've never had issues with the stockers blowing? Also, I don't think the tuner quite understood what was going on with the BNR 16G (OEM turbo issue). I don't think they were familiar with LGT's at all.
How are you guys getting 21psi+ on the stock intercooler? At 19psi, my stocker IC is holding (without barbeans bands). I just brought the bullet proofed IC along in case the stocker blew.
I'm not sure if it's worth it to swap my stock IC & DP with aftmarket ones. Extra 15hp?
I'll probably go E85. I'm pretty self conscious about my vehicle. I get funny looks on campus when I accelerate & my vehicle clicks/ticks/etc. Definitely going intake to drown that out.
