I just got my 2006 LGT Wagon 5EAT and the one complaint I have is the simplistic gauge cluster that comes with the car. I am looking at adding the centre storage gauge pod from JCS-PODS:

http://www.jcs-pods.com/legacy05.html

And my own gauges, I looked at the STi gauge cluster, however, I do like that I can still close the door to keep the stock look with this.

I am also looking for opinions on the best turbo gauge to purchase and what the other gauge I should put in (was thinking oil pressure) and the best brands out on the market. This is my first turbo vehicle and I like to keep the turbo in one piece.

Any help would be appreciated.

you have a vf40, it will imploded when it wants to, where it wants to. The AEM digital gauges are a great set, depending on how many you want, boost and oil pressure being the top 2 important. AFR isn't a bad idea, but if you're stock, I wouldn't bother unless you plan on tuning/getting it tuned. the aem digital's are 52mm and have a light sensor and auto dims the readout LED'sdepending on surrounding environment brightness. you can youtube search for vids of them. they come with a white or black backing depending on your style.

I don't plan on modifying this vehicle, the sole purpose of the gauge set is so that I can get more information when I am driving it daily.

oil pressure > oil temp mr. 5th gen N/A. 4th gens have an oil cooler and don't exhibit too high oil temps even modified because engine coolant attempts to equalize temps, whereas the OP is stock, oil pressure can plummet(because 06 is the year of all ye cracked pickup tubes) and bunk your turbo and main bearings.
