2008 Subaru Legacy Spec B
Flew up to Maryland about two months ago and picked her up and drove it home. Two weeks later while on my way to Galveston the turbo went out and I had to limp it home and park it.
The culprit was a clogged banjo bolt filter for the oil feed line.
I ordered what was necessary to fix it.
CNT Catted DP
IP&T Oil feed line kit.
After an issue with an etuner and a slight knock issue I was able to get it up and running today. I will be taking it to TopSpeed in Atlanta in June to put it on the dyno and make sure everything is worked out. But it seems like all the bugs are taken care of.
It had a clean car fax with one owner, and when I bought it it was stock. There was a K&N sticker on the back passenger window, so I am not sure if it had a drop in or a intake at one point. The car fax showed dealer service up until the 35k warranty expired. After that there was no record for it. On my way out of town, after buying it, I had stopped by the local Subaru dealership. They said they actually checked it out a few days before I bought it and everything was fine. Suppose it was bad timing on my part, but I love the car, it's everything we need in a family sedan right now. And once I get it off the dyno the peace of mind will be well worth it.
