I'm looking at a Perrin TMIC for my stage II 08 Spec B, my question is how long can I run it on a Cobb OTS tune with out blowing up? I'm currently not running the car hard (winter in Michigan) and plan on getting a pro tune asap.

Thanks

Stock tmic depending on mileage of the car normally falls apart around 18 psi. It's just a matter of time before the tmic falls apart.

I recommend the avo if u can find one used. Perrin tmic doesn't have the best fitment. Avo is spot on for fitment.
Usually find the avo for around 500$ used.

I know you've PM'd about my TMIC, and frankly I have too many offers to even be concerned about steering you wrong. I'll say the same thing in public that I said in the PM response to your question. You do not need to change your tune if you're upgrading your TMIC. You won't do any damage.

However, you may squeeze a little extra performance out of the aftermarket TMIC (whichever you go with), which could mean problems reverting to the stock TMIC without retuning (or reloading the OTS tune).

Search the forums for information.
