My first subie

Hey guys,

In about a month's time, I'll be purchasing a 1998 Subaru Legacy GT-B Wagon (auto, twin turbo, 58,000 original KM). It'll be my first Subaru and I'm pretty excited.

It's currently in Japan right now, but is shipping out on Monday. It should be here in about a month. I've only got a small deposit on it right now. If I decide that it's not what I want, I can walk.

Where can I find more information on this car? I.e. Common problems, what to look for when buying. The body and interior are in mint condition (according to the auction report), so my attention is turned to the mechanical condition of the car.

What sorts of things should I watch out for when purchasing this car? I've already purchased a Geiger counter to test it for radiation

P.S. Do you know what the engine code is for this car? I.e. EJxxx. Do you know what the chassis code is for this car? I think it is in the form of Bxx.
