New DD project

I wanted to be more involved with the Legacy forum as I am mostly on the IWSTI.com site. I picked up a 05 Legacy gt 5mt wagon for a new DD. It needed a bunch of work, though should be pretty cool when I'm done.
This is a garage build so things may appear ghetto at times.
I'll also post a few pics of the STI below.

Subaru Springs from 08 STI - 08 STI retainers (subaru updated the springs and use much lighter retainers now) Wanted OEM for long haul

Heads - 3 angle Intake, Radiused Exhaust - Mild hand port/blend the seats

Ferrea Competition Plus Valves - std size

Case halves are back together. I will post pics soon of that. We went with Pauter rods, 99.5 Manley pistons, oem crank and acl bearings. I went with Manley pistons since this is more of a OEM style build, I didn't want to go with with full kill FSR JE pistons. The Manley pistons have more skirt area and are coated.

I'm also going with ARP head studs, a covert pickup and 08 sti oil pump. New gates timing assembly as well.

There's nothing 2.5i about either of your Subarus..

Rather than wonder when the tranny will blow (hopefully I will get some miles out of it), I'm looking at either a 6speed swap or some Albins gears. Looks like some guys are putting down a lot more power than I will and they are running strong. I don't plan on tracking this car so as long as my wife doesn't drop the clutch racing red lights, it should be good!

Valve covers, I also painted the TGV and the catch can the same.

28psi on a non sleeved 2.5l block???? what gas are you running through it???
