Does anyone else experience what "seems" to be the seat going down over time.
I have the very base model so I have to use a lever to raise and lower the driver's seat.
I "feel" that, over time, the seat goes down and does not stay at the height at which I put it.
Anyone else with this issue or am I just out of my mind?

Mine gets lower in boost, and higher during hard panic braking....
Something tells me that will go away when I finally get some stiffer springs.

I'm 195 pounds. And, I am the only one driving the car.
Kastley, is yours a 6mt as well?
Rahhstah, you think it's just the foam in the seat that is settling?
Anyone else with a base model who doesn't keep their seat at the lowest position?

I have the same problem. I think it's a defect in the seat, but haven't got the chance to take it in to report it.

So, I'm not crazy. And, my spine is not collapsing.
How often do you notice, Scoobe? I only notice it when I have to put the visor down and realize the sun is in my face.

I usually set the seat at its highest. I usually need to give it a pump once or twice a week. Depending on how much i drive the car.
Let me know if you plan to get it checked out.

my 13' 6mt driver seats "Lumbar support" basically failed and broke 2-3 weeks in to ownership in october if not mistaken their is a recall on the lumbar support for the 13 base seats. from what my recite said from the dealer i purchased car from that did the work. and i believe quoting the parts/gargage guy at the dealer.

Could be, no one would confuse me as being skinny.
I checked my seat today...and it was still at the "three pumps from the bottom" where I seem to like it.
I guess I should check the Lumbar Support thing out..

I called and made an appointment with Capitol Subaru in San Jose for Friday 7:30am.
Dennis, in service, couldn't be bothered with a Saturday appointment to have my seat checked out. He said they keep Saturdays for oil changes and minor stuff. Yikes! No one told that to Capitol Nissan where I just had a 60K service done along with ALL fluid change and a belt change.
Dennis said he hasn't heard anything about a seat issue.
I will keep you guys posted.

This is while driving, so it is with a full "buttock".
If you have a CVT, most likely you have a power seat as well, so you wouldn't notice this.
Scooby-GT has same issue.
My guess is that Subaru will not be able to find the issue and I will have to put in a fixed seat as was suggested.
I will keep you posted.
