So I have a 03 legacy gt and im trying to find some coilovers for it .
But I cant find any for the be chassis. I can find them for the
B4 but none for the us model. Will these still work or
Is there a difference between the two. I found some k sports
I think might work but im not sure.

Megan, Stance, BE, Tein, ksports all makes coilovers for the 00-04 Legacy USDM models.
Try searching for coilovers for chassis code BE9/BE5 or BH9/BH5.

as well as ohlins, bilstein, sti, apexi, cusco, zero sports, syms, hks, prova, pretty much all main brands make them getting those isnt cheap or easy though most have to be shipped from japan. also 05-09 legacy suspension is basically the same except for front strut mounts.

so if i were ordering new struts/shocks and springs for a 04, i could get 05-09 rears then and they'll bolt right up with no mods?
How about the fronts? any other subaru compatibility? (ie: 02-07 wrx fronts or something)

I will be testing this theory in a about a month. I ordered BL/BP struts and springs and BE front tophats. They should bolt up, my question is about the difference in front strut height(if there is any, I feel BL/BP may be shorter from photos). So if that is no issues then it will work.
Just an FYI I will be posting my Tein HA coilovers up for sale after I do this.

I ran BCs for almost a year, really great as install and adjustability. Quality was top notch! If your slammed like I was then you will be pretty stiff as in feeling every bump, raised up and set to soft it rode like a caddy. It takes some time getting your setup you like.

Best bet, or what I did at least.. pick up a set of fourth gen coilovers and swap the front top hats. Everything else fits, and its alot easier to find coilovers for the fourth gen then the third.

Oh holy shit I forgot I posted in this earlier..
But yeah, I took the gamble. Bought Megan street xts with camber plates and 32 way adjustable dampening for the fourth gen. Everything bolts right up except the front top hats ( bolt pattern is a little wider. To solve this problem you can do one of two things.. elongate the holes to accommodate the 4th gen front mounts.. or swap on third gen top hats.
If you swap your third gen top hats, you'll need a small sleeve because most coilovers strut arms use a smaller diameter rod then stock. (10/11mm instead of 12.)
Note: if you do swap stock top hats on as well, you'll be lowering the car 1.5-1.75" additionally because of the different mounting system.
