Right now I have 18x7.5 ProDrive GC010Es, but I'm looking to go back to a 17" wheel. I'm considering going back to OEM wheels, but I'd go for a solid, DD-friendly set of aftermarket wheels as well. If I go back to aftermarket 17s, I'll go with a 17x8 set and I haven't decided which tires I'd go with yet. All that said, what aftermarket 17" wheels are worth taking a look at if I can't find a mint set of OEM wheels?

I'd like to be able to sell my current wheel/tire combo to cover the cost of the 17" setup. Current setup = ProDrive GC010E (18x7.5) + Bridgestone PP RE970 (225/40R18).

Funny, I was looking at those earlier
What size tires do you have on them?

225/45-17 Dunlop Wintersport 3D
If I wasn't using them with winter/snow tires I would probably run a 235 or 245 on there to take advantage of the width and square up the shoulders a bit.

you can even find TE37s for only around 1500...

Enkei for sure. Lots of beautiful designs in 17" that are high quality yet not forged.
if you want new, I'd go Enkei.
Otherwise I'd hold out for a nice used set of Volk or Advan or Works or Weds. Drift Motion and I have similar tastes.
