Hi all. Up for sale is my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT. 5 speed manual transmission. First off, the title is clean and clear. Please read everything CAREFULLY before posting or calling/texting. Thanks!
Year, Make and Model: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT (lmtd?)
Color: SWP
Miles: 115,xxx
Transmission: 5mt
Title: Clean
Lien: Yes
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
VIN: (PM for VIN)
Seller's email address: (PM for Email address)
Asking Price: $12,500 OBO!

Onto the specs:

-Body has 115,xxx, motor has 6x,xxx.
-Newer Transmisson. Ironically same mileage as car. I picked the trans up from a member on here. PM me with any questions.
-Satin White pearl exterior, black leather interior (rare color combination with the 5mt)
-Motor is a full ej257 long block from an 06 STi. I can get the vin of the doner car.
-Modded STi yellows to flow 740cc
-Walbro 255 Fuel pump
-Stock airbox, with a fast motorsports silcone inlet
-Invida catless downpipe
-Greddy catless uppipe
-Autospeed catback
-AEM wideband/AEM boost with cubby pod.
-BC BR coilovers
-Stop tech pads/slotted front rotors
-Spec stage 2+ Clutch (5k miles) NEW DISK, 0 Miles! (last one looked rough from my transmission locking up)
-Spec Alumnium lightweight flywheel(5k miles)
-Kartboy Shifter bushings
-Kartboy Shift linkage bushings
-Kart boy short shifter
-WC lathewerks custom tiantium shift knob
-Replaced the center armrest for the extended version, and the clock pod.
-6000k HID with LED running lights.
-LED 6000k interior lights, trunk lights, licene plate valance lights, etc.

Car is currently open source tuned. Boost tables are entirely stock. Only thing adjusted was fueling and idle for the injectors, TGV's and exhaust. Planned on a better tune this summer.

I'm sure there's more.

As with any car, a few cons.
-Rotors will need to be replaced. Little shaky. I plan on doing that before the sale
-One of the turn signal sockets is funky, and needs a new one. Probably a $15 part. I have a replacement bulb
-AC isn't hooked up, but I have EVERYTHING from Subaru (OEM) to have it functioning again. I can install if desired.
-Small crack in the front bumper from a trailor hitch. Front plate is covering it up
-One headlight tab is epoxied because someone dropped a wrench on it.

I have nothing to hide. I used to own a WRX Wagon, and I sold it to a guy that lives 40 seconds from my work. I still keep in contact with him, and he's been having a blast.

The ONLY reason I'm selling is to get into a b5 s4/avant. NO TRADES!

If you want to lower the price some, I can remove a few little odds and ends.

Any questions feel free to call/text: 231-eightfivefive-8seven00

No offense, But all those things are listed besides my VIN, and if someone wants my VIN they can ask. I will not disclose my Vin number if I don't have to.

If someone wants interior shots, they can ask. I don't want BS posts because someones bored and wants to see what the inside of my car looks like. If they're interested, they'll ask.

If this is a problem, then close it.

non taken. However we have a format. please follow our format and add in the info that I inserted. it only takes a moment to do it correctly.

and yes. we require your vin number. read the sticky here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...re-155552.html

specifically:
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS - NO EXCEPTIONS:

A. Location of item must be listed in your title. Please post the state or province, country, etc where your vehicle is located.

B. Vehicle Identification Number must be listed in your posting. Please list your vehicle's VIN so it's available for checking against registry reporting systems, i.e., CarFax, AutoCheck, etc. Listing false or fabricated VINs for your vehicle is grounds for banning from the site for fraudulent activity.

free bump.

and last opportunity to add in your info into our format. I would suggest (since you have nothing to hide) that you include pics of the areas of your car that have damage. (which, if you read the rules is required.)

if not, I'll gladly close your post. lmk

Must be that LP.

To bad OP doesn't want to follow the rules, the car looks nice.

Please don't patronize me over the internet.

The crack is literally 4" long, if not smaller. As said, it's being covered by a front plate.

If someone is seriously interested in the car, they will ask. If they don't, they shouldn't be buying a car. I'll fill out your little template WITHOUT my vin. Another member on here has already ran a carfax on my vehicle, and can vouch for this car in that area. But I will only give my VIN to interested buyers.

Thanks.

And to add, I just purchased a turn signal socket from another member, and the AC IS intact, it just doesn't have the pulley/belt/bearings/lash adjuster installed, which I do have, Brand new

Op, don't want to intrude or tell you how to make your thread but pictures of the AC stuff uploaded would be nice for potential buyers. Again not trying to tell you what to do.

oh I'm not patronizing you. I'm telling you what is required in order for you to post your car. you have damaged parts to your vehicle yet you won't document with pictures ...only in PM. that's not how it works. again....read the rules.

Clearly this has become a problem for you. Please add in VIN and required pics today or I'll close your post.

Please stay out of my business. This clearly has nothing to do with you. By your profile, it seems as though you already own a Legacy. If you have no intent to buy, keep your opinion to yourself

I'm not going to hand-feed people. I've listed all information about the car. Simply asking me for pictures of the parts isn't hard. It's also something I'm not going to lie about. Lets be real here.

Listen here, sir. You HONESTLY think everyone is going to snoop around every inch of there vehicle to show you every single minor imperfection of the car?

If someone is serious, I will do that. But after selling 2 modified vehicles, I don't have the time for tire kickers, or "I have to see if I can get financing" to have me run around the vehicle.

I can get pictures of the crack, send the vin, the pictures of the oem parts, and even have pictures of a compression test.

If my listing isn't adequate to the standards of this website, then feel free to delete it. I will not lose sleep over this.

Thanks.

You're right. I'm trying to sell off the painful burden of a crack in my
Bumper that wouldn't cost more than $200 to fix.

My evil plan has been foiled. Good thing you were here to save all the innocent unsuspecting people of this forum from my cracked bumper.

Someone please, give this man a medal.
