Haven't found a solid answer for this other then having to do with the Baja. I wanted to know if a same year (05') STi gauge cluster can go into my 05' LGT?

I have seen many members on here with those gauges in their '05 legacy. If you google search you can come across several threads about this on here. Search STi gauge cluster legacy gt.

If interested in buying one, you can basically get a new one for the same price as a used one here: http://parts.subarupartswarehouse.co...subcat2=136848 (Applicability: Legacy 2.5 GT and Outback XT (2005-2009) w/o NAVI.)and here is the thread where I found the info http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ck-194337.html

*edit...well crap, looks like the price is more now. Maybe call them and see if they'll discount it.

I think hes talking about the actual instrument cluster? If so,I don't think so but someone else more knowledgeable can chime in I'm sure.

You're correct sir. I've seen Baja's from my search get it done - I read somewhere that Baja's are somewhat like our cars..

Bump. Was just searching to see if the STI Instrament cluster would work in the Legacy and came across this. The STI and Legacy cluster look the same and if that was the case then we could use the SMY gauge cluster http://www.importimageracing.com/smy...u-wrx-sti.html

Has anyone tried this?

First time I'm seeing something like this but I'd love to know if I could use the SMY cluster so I can also use the instrument cluster as well to give my car more of an STi feel from the inside.

I actually messaged SMY and they had no idea if it was the same or not so there might be a chance. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

I believe the legacy cluster bezel has a single screw located in the top center. The one in the picture appears to have two offset to either side, so my bet is no.
