First I want to say, this site is awesome. I bought my 05 LGT just over a month ago and love it. I wanted something quick but with all wheel drive as I make regular trips over the mountains from Grand Juction where I go to school, back to Denver, which is where I'm from. I did a lot of research on mods and different things about the car before I bought it.
This past weekend I installed a full turbo back exhaust with an invidia catless divorced down pipe and did the OTS Stage 2 tune from cobb for now. (I plan on getting a professional tune soon, just can't afford it right now as I am a broke college kid).
Here is my question: I installed the exhaust system last Saturday in Denver and I felt a pretty sizable difference in torque. The past day or two, the car seems to not have as much power as when I originally flashed the car to stage 2, so I hooked my accessport up and did live data. I should have done this right after my install so I had a base to look at, but I didn't. According to Cobb, the stage 2 tune should get 16.5 lbs of boost max. The most I have been able to get today 11.5. Could this difference be from the altitude here in CO? I haven't logged data yet because I don't have a good road to due a 3rd gear pull near by without risking a ticket.
I know part of the difference I'm feeling now from Saturday could be me just getting used to the car, but I feel that it's a pretty noticeable difference.
Is there something wrong with my car or am I just paranoid?
Sorry for the lengthy post, but any input will be greatly appreciated!
