I have also installed the Thule kit on 2010 LGT, and I love it.
The only thing that I might caution you on is that there is a difference between the front and rear fit kits, the difference is subtle but there is a difference.
I am off to Hotter N' Hell in Wichita Falls this weekend. I love road trips in the Legacy.
Thule's web site still does not have the 2010 Legacy listed. I called Thule customer support and got the proper part numbers.
Ordered from Rack Attack
Thule LB 50 inch Load Bars - $62.95
Thule 480 Traverse - $143.95
Thule Traverse Fit Kit 1574 - $62.95
Thule 588 8 pack Lock Cores - $76.95
Thule 518 Echelon (2) - $269.90
Total $616.70 without fairing.

Rick2010: Nice color you picked out for your GT! Enjoy the ride. My rack's tight and secure. No problems.

i see you chose the aero bars. good choice. i'm still trying to decide. need to decide on that before the ski/snowboard season.

20% in the back 5, 35% on the driver and passenger, none on the windshield.

hey guys - did you put the racks on yourselves? I am having a large amount of difficulty getting them on the roof. i'm probably doing something stupidly wrong, but i didn't have this much trouble with my tsx.

Not a fan of roof racks on anything. They all seem to stand out like sore thumbs. But if you have to carry something that doesn't fit into the trunk....

I prefer the Yakima because the bars are dark and it doesn't stand out as much on top of the roof. Btw, I'm assuming you put the fairing on backwards?

those are the thule aero bars. they are silver and have a rail on the top. if you get the thule square bars, they will be as dark as the yak.

Hey TTBoy, yes the fairing's put on backwards. No need for more bold advertising considering the name's already plastered on the endcaps of the bars.
These are the aerobars, and just like GravityGear said, they're silver. Thule has the square bars in black, and Yakima has the round bars in black.
Brady, can't really help you with your problem. I'm not sure which foot pack you're using. I have the rapid traverse feet for my Legacy, and they're SO easy to use.
