EJ25 short block
Heads stamped B25
This si the engine i pulled from my 05 LGT. It has 80psi in clyinder #2 but the car still ran and drove fine. I drove the car over 1000miles since i knew of the low compression and you wouldn't even know it unless you came to a stop and then the car had a slight vibration. This engine would be great for someone who wants a built motor without the downtime. I haven't pulled it apart and i do not know if the problem is in the heads or the pistons.
I'm asking $800 for it, as it sits right now.
(I know that the 4 cam gears alone sell for $200, heads go for $350 each
, and a block in good shape would go for $750, and $250 if it needed work. That being said i'm still open to fair offers)
I'd rip it apart and sell it in pieces but i've got an s2000 in my garage right now and i'm parting that out, trying to do 1 thing at a time. I'll part it if i have serious interest or in another month when the s2k is gone.

I'm in need of the block, PM'ed you on your other FS thread. I was planning on a full rebuild anyway, internals not necessary.

OP, do you know if you were still hitting target boost?
How bad was the vibration at idle?
Did you get any CEL?
And was it the vibration alone that made you do a compression test?

I see but how were your boost levels? Were you hitting target boost still? And were you getting constant misfire on that cylinder or only at times? Asking cause I got a misfire once so far as well. Haven't done any compression test yet.
