I was wondering if anyone can confirm if the 2004-08 liberty hood is the same as the 2005-07 legacy gt. I am looking at getting a carbon fiber hood and found this one. let me know what you think!

All turbo scoop'd hoods for non-Outbacks are the same; all turbo Outback scoop'd hoods are the same; all n/a non-Outback hoods are the same; all n/a Outback hoods are the same.

Hope this helps

Yes, that hood would fit on ANY MY2005-2009 USDM Legacy/Outback turbo model.

That scoop does look shorter front to back and a bit taller than stock. Are all the intercoolers the same size where they seal to the scoop?

AFAIK the TMIC for all the 2.0T and 2.5T BL/BP Legacy/Liberty have essentially the same fitment with the hoods. The scoop itself has nothing to do with the diffuser's size/location only with how much air flow it collects for the diffuser.

That scoop looks a bit more aggressive than our OEM units but I would be more concerned about the diffuser than the scoop if you're inquiring about fitment with the TMIC. I would assume OEM style fitment though as that company seems pretty reputable(?) so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
