Hit gravel or something on a usual commute downhill road I take, rear end kicked out, countersteered, typical subaru snap, not enough time to countersteer and caught grip and straight into a divide. Luckily no injuries no nothing. Other things you can't see, scuffed up rear bumper, windshield is cracked, bumper beam is pushed all the way up to the timing belt cover.

What do you guys think?
I think easily done

Ouch! Sorry to see but thankfully nobody was hurt. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good. In the sixth picture it looks like some of the front end smashed the front of the engine, damaging the timing pulleys and timing belt. You could have some serious engine damage in addition to the body work.

The mileage and overall condition of the car is gonna be a key factor. If the repairs cost more than I believe 60% of the cars value it's totaled. On a positive note, I've seen cars that look worse get repaired :-) Good luck!

Anything pushed into the timing cover is bad, interference motor and all. It's an 05 so it will most certainly cost 75% the value of the car to fix it, especially if the motor is toast.

not going to say thats any worse then the spec B i brought back to life, but i can tell you one thing frame damage sucks, if it kinked they will have to replace that rail because when you pull it it'll just rip, then you have the chance of motor damage, hood, bumper, headlights and who knows what else. if your pockets deep fix it, otherwise i wouldn't mess with it.
sorry about your loose, hope you figure something out.

i call dips on hella horns if your parting out.

Well unfortunately I don't have stock brakes :/ I may end up throwing some RS ones on there But I will let you know. Keep your eye out for a part out thread.

I will be taking those out but depending on the next car I get... They may go into those. I won't be trying to fix this car, it'd done, I don't have pockets to fix the car. A friend with 116k same year got 14k a few months back, I'm hoping to get near that. I'll figure something out, the replacement will be either..... 04-05 STi, 04-05 Forester, 03-04 Evo XIII, 24V Cummins. But it's definitely going to be a daily car so... Who knows...

Well since you're not local I think I'd be a bit difficult. Cause I'll probably need them by Tuesday. If I throw other brakes on and end up having them separately we can definitely work something out.
