Only the right side of the seat reclines closest to the center console... the left side closest to the Door won't move so my seat wants to gangster lean lol

cant offer a fix, but you can probably sell it to some junkie and tell him its the only seat that comes equipped with gangster lean capabilities.

OEM gangsta lean?!?!?!?!?!?

I will pay you three times your asking price!

On a serious note hopefully someone who has had the seat apart (maybe to do the lumbar fix) can comment on how the configuration looks with the seat out of the car and opened which can shed some light on where the issue may be.

Your issue may be this 2010 Legacy TSB. Go to the dealer and see if it's covered. If not, maybe they can print out the TSB for you.

Service Bulletin #12-115-09
Pages: 5
Bulletin Description: If you encounter a customer complaint that the rear seat will not recline, there is the possibility that the reclining cable end came out of the reclining lever assembly. To remedy the condition, refer to the service procedure in this bulletin.

This is for the outback and addresses the rear seats, not the front.

Activate duckin' bullets mode..

I'd look around under the seat at the cables and springs to make sure nothing is caught up in there.
