The factory nav stopped playing my ipod that worked fine since I bought the car. It loads the ipod but when it goes to play it just freezes.

Anyone have this? Possible to hard reset the headunit without removing battery cables?

Ive just have had that when I plug it in, it goes to the recognizing part but the menu "playing, list, etc..." doesn't come up and it doesn't play. It still charges though. I just unplug the phone and plug it in again and that seems to work.... now I don't have the nav setup though either....

It lets me do everything but instead of playing it just sits there. I pick a song, press play, it says it's playing but the time is frozen. I can even Scan through the track but I hear nothing.

The ipod has a built in speaker and it's working fine.

Soo weird. I did a software reset with no luck i'm think im going to have to pull the power but that will require my tools.

I constantly have the issue that islandborn is describing, but never had it not play at all... strange. Maybe unplug the cars battery and try to reset that way?

Have you guys recently upgraded your iPod firmware? I had read a list of firmware that was compatible and a note that said something to the effect ... that certain firmware may perform in a inconsistent manner.

Found this ... hope it helps.
