So as some of you know I have a frankenmotor with ACL Race bearings. Use Rotella T6 oil.

Sadly lately it has been hesitating some and oil pressures are no longer consistant. It's about 15psi at idle (before and now) and 80psi cold (before and now)

However when I am driving when warmed up and I punch it the car will hesitate and then take off. While it hesitates the oil pressure dips about 10psi and then when the power comes back the oil pressure regulates.

What am I looking at here? Motor is quiet and no bearing noise.

Doesn't sound like an oil pressure issue.

If the engine is bogging down, then naturally oil pressure will drop a little bit and then kick back up once the engine acts normal again.

You need to trace down the issue of the hesitation and once thats solved your oil pressure will probably act normal.
