differences in legacy engines (need new engine)

so my timing belt skipped which lead to engine failure. Just wondering if all the sohc engines from 2005-2007 are the same? my car is a 2007.

did you try putting a new belt back on have seen this work

05 is its own beast, 06-09 are the same for all non turbo 4 cylinders

I would look for a donor engine from a 06-09 H4 non turbo Subar (Legacy, Impreza, Forester, OB)
