I bring my own oil and filter to the dealer for an oil change. I didn't bring a "drain plug gasket" so they told me bring me one each time, or they'll charge $1.32 for one. Is $1.32 a good deal, or is there somewhere I can buy them for cheaper? Never heard of this item, but they showed me what it is.

So your car didn't have a drain plug before you took it to the dealer?
You need a Fumoto Valve ASAP and start doing your own oil changes with Rotela 6.

That's about right for a dealership. You can get a pack of a 2-3 'crush washers' (M20) at
auto parts stores for ~$5. If you're getting your own oil and filter (and gaskets..) maybe you should change it yourself. If so, you could install a Fumoto valve to make your own oil change easier. Where are you in 'upstate NY'? I have a spare Fumoto valve you can have.

5th gen legacy uses a different drain plug than previous gens. One of a few ways Subaru screwed us...

It has one, but they said it needs to be replaced each time since the old filter will give it an indent.
I don't have ramps and I don't know how to change it. $12 for them to do it isn't bad.
The drain plug gasket that they showed me looked like a metal key ring that one would put keys on. Is there something better to use that doesn't have to be replaced every time?
I'm in Rochester.
They also said 2010 on up uses a different size, so they're not standardized.

Oh I see, well I would just let them change it. It's just $1 and change.

If you are going to continue to use the OEM/Stock drain plug then you need a new one every time.
The only other option is to buy a Fumoto drain valve as someone already stated. Makes changing your own oil easy easy.

We've all had our pissing match over this a few times. Yes, going by the book, you change the crush-washer every time you remove the engine oil drain plug. Does NOT doing so guarantee problems/leaks? Absolutely not. I've changed the oil myself three times on my 2012 2.5i and I'm still on the factory supplied crush washer. I do plan to get a new one for the next oil change. If I had a box of new ones I'd change them every time. Typically if you pay $6-8 for a dealer filter, they'll throw in a new crush-washer for you. The box of Subaru filters I mail-ordered recently came with 12 crush washers for a <2009 EJ253. I can't use'em.
Like said, the 2010-2012 EJ253 engines have a completely different drain plug and crush washer than the earlier models.
Not sure what the 2013 FB uses.

As others have said, get the Fumoto drain valve and do it yourself.
I personally wouldn't go out of my way to find the washer anywhere else. Is saving a few cents under $1.32 really worth the hassle? You're already there, just get it from them.

Just something about the fumoto extending down scares me. It also bothers me that the oil in the bottom of the pan (with the heaviest sediment and solids) doesn't drain because the fumoto goes up into the pan. That bottom of the pan is where all the metal fines are at.
I can afford a crush washer every oil change since replacing the engine is so expensive.

Well if it's under warranty just get the oil change done at the dealership. And as for the avatars, I just try to contribute something to the site
