Just a few minor tweaks made over the first week I owned this Legacy, just to make the car ‘mine’ while I save up for either a full STi swap, or a Raptor supercharger. Mainly doing supporting mods and cosmetic details now (red calipers are +15hp each, right )

New intake and a slightly reworked exhaust, upgraded brakes and stiffer suspension (off a ‘06 Spec B). Cosmetically, it will be getting a carbon hood (this one has paint missing... can't see in the photo because photoshop), a new front lip (probably the '06-07 STi lip), side skirts, rear diffuser, and a 3-5cm drop in ride height. New rims and tires will go on for the summer.

Its no road demon, but sure is fun to drive and makes a perfect base for future fun.

Now: I'm attaching a poll to this. Simple question. Given the choice, which would you rather see done? A supercharger bolted on or an STi swap?

Well I'll be first to give you the obligatory "sell it and get a gt" but I wouldn't touch it. 2.5i's get the job done and are fairly reliable. Once you start doing things to it, it wasn't designed to handle, you'll run into problems. So if you're looking to build a crazy hp racecar, "sell it and get a gt" otherwise just get it to where you like how it looks. Nothing wrong with a good looking n/a. My first car was a obp 2.5i legacy sedan and I blacked it out and loved how it looked. But I wanted some power under my feet and a man pedal so I picked up a manual gt and couldn't be happier. I'm interested to see what you decide. Either way good luck and do what ever makes you happy!

Elliott - I know, I know. I'm not decided on what to do, so I'm just doing little things now. I may end off selling it and getting a GT anyways. I'll decide next year.

I can totally see this modification IF the Legacy GT was wagon only (MazdaSPEED 3) and wanting a sedan version to stand out of the sheep's herd.
But Hey do what you need to do. I think the supercharger idea seems legit. Make sure your internals will be able to handle the torture.
Full Support from me.

>>>Though not a GT, she's looking clean. Good luck on your mods. Have fun ... STI swap on the poll.
