Background Information
For sale is my 5 speed manual 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited with 13X,XXX miles. The car is Obsidian Black Pearl in color with black leather interior. I am the second owner and purchased the car from Suburban Subaru in Vernon CT with 5X,XXX miles. My wife and I used this car for our 100 mile (all highway, lame but true) commute to work every day. When we purchased it from the dealer it had,

• Tinted windows (not the greatest job ever)
• Momo shift knob and Steering wheel
• Auto-dimming mirror with compass
• Under seat sub
• Ignition disabler (fob mounted under the drivers side dash)

Why is the turbo blown/motor damaged? One cold February night in 2001 while on our way home the CEL (blown engine light) came on when we were about 20 miles from home, with an infant in the car and sub 20 degree temps outside I chose to continue driving home. It made it another 15 miles when it lost power and heard the marbles bouncing around in the turbo. I limped it the last 5 miles home and parked it. It has been out of the garage once since then to take these pictures.
The exterior of the car has chips and dings you would expect with a highway driven car with this amount of miles, but nothing major. The windshield has a chip on the drivers side. My wife got rear ended on the drivers side, 2k worth of damage and I would give the repair a “B” because the blend was not great and some light sanding scratches are visible if you look closely. I also suspect that the passenger rear door was repainted because the clear is slightly more dull than the rest of the car, I never cut and buffed it but im guessing it would clean up fine.

As for the interior, it is in very good shape. There is some normal wear on the shift boot/shifter/steering wheel/center console. The seats/dash/door panels/carpet are in great shape, no tears or fading.
This car has quite a few upgrades. Here’s the list,
· Brembo front brakes from an 04 STI
· Hawk HPS pads all the way around (lots of meat left)
· Agency power SS braided lines
· Synthetic brake fluid
· Koni adjustable all the way around
· Eibach springs
· Super Pro rear LCA bushings
· Whiteline roll center kit
· 18x8 Rota Tarmac 3’s in hyper silver
· New Toyo Proxes 4’s 235/40/18
· Carbon fiber rear spoiler
My plan was to fix this car, even have 2k worth of parts sitting in my garage to support the new turbo. My plan changed when I dropped the pan and found some bearing material. The car is sitting (disassembled to replace turbo) and I just cant justify putting a new motor in the car. Please take this thing off my hands so I can get my garage back and start working on my other projects.
This car would be a great flip, track car, or even part out for someone who has the time and ambition.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of response. Sold the car on 11/11 to a forum member and left town for work on 11/12. Did not get a chance to get on the forum to give an update till now.

BTW, turbo blew in 2011... my bad on the typo.
