Everytime I put my foot on the brake the shifter clicks. The car is automatic. When I take off again it clicks too..... This normal? Just started noticing it......

Yes, it is the solenoid or park actuator. Not sure what they call them in these cars...

Shift lock override. It will not allow you to take it out of park without your foot on the brake.
