So my friend is a big Acura/Honda guy. Lots of Honda/Acura V6 guys/gals use these J-pipes. Adds @12-15whp. My friend just got one from RV6 performance...he was a test fitter for his Ridgeline. He says he really likes it. Not much on the top end, but he said low end is much much better.

Anyway...anyone in the midwest (Winfield, IL) that wants to go over there to see about test fitting someting for the 3.6 that would be great. I'm not aware of anything like this for us on the market today. I'll get more contact info later.

Sure would be nice to get a little more out of the 3.6.

Looks like its an equal length collector pipe. Front wheel drive platforms with transverse mounted V6 motors inherently have very different lengths after the 6 (or 3 and 3) into 2 because the exhaust exits the rear of the car, not the side. I'm not certain of the 3.6R header, but I imagine it is a 6 into 1. The exhaust "scavenging" effect may be able to be improved to add power with a 6 into 2 into 1 depending on the length of each runner on the stock header/manifold, but that would likely require a whole new exhaust header for the 3.6R which would be pricey, with likely a minimum gain in hp.

In any case, it would be interesting to see what they say.

I installed a 3" magnaflow catback exhaust off of the gt model with very little modification. Took me and my girlfriend less than 1 hour to install. Car sounds awesome and definitely woke the 3.6 up a little.
