I am looking for OEM Subaru wheels at least 18 inch. Either from the Japanese SUBES or from maybe a Spec B older. Do these fit? And where can I find these. Any pics would be appreciated. THANKS

Silly question: What are the procedures with wheels having TMPS installed? I only replaced wheels w/o the system so far...thinking about getting a Legacy soon. Thanks guys!

You can either go with wheels without sensors and live with the warning light, or get wheels with new sensors (or move your old ones over) and have the new sensors registered with the computer.

Is there a specific model of TPMS that must be used for the Subaru? Since the new system must be registered, shops like discounted tires can still do it? Thanks!

when you get new wheels, the stock TPMS can be transferred over to the new wheels, it's same as transferring the valve stems. No need to re-program. Most tire shops can do this without problem.

You can get third party TPMS that cost less. I replaced one or two when the shiny metal caps bonded to the stems and I busted the stems taking them off.
I've been using the TPMS on the winter setup and live with the light otherwise. It's amazing how soon you ignore the light being there (or not when tires swapped out).

Thank you all for the valuable info. Maybe it will benefit to get an used set of more recent year OEM wheels/tires then, since those already have TPMS installed?

not necessarily, most people take them out when they buy new wheels and transfer them over

Guess it's one of those annoying thing you must deal with then; since I read that even with 2 sets of TPMS, each time they are swapped out calibration must be done.
