Some are saying its the STI, not the WRX Concept car. If it does turn out to be the WRX Concept, then it appears that we are all going to be greatly disappointed. However, there are little things that you can see how it would indicate that it would be the STI.
For example, the STI badge on the front grill, I believe it is.

That's a current Impreza with a body kit. It's kinda late for this to be just a test mule, so Subaru's strategy sure looks confusing.
1. Show aggressive/impressive concept and claim it's close to production model
2. Test a base impreza with a wing on the Ring.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Take a 4th gen Legacy, add some rice stuff, mask the heck out of it and drive it around known areas for test vehicles to get the photos on the web.
Meanwhile continue with the testing elsewhere.

That color was used when testing the BRZ i think... and it was basically that car. So i wouldnt get my hopes up.

Now that I've thought more about it, I think this is just an Impreza GT doing testing with an STi wing to build buzz about it. That's just the 2011 STi wing.
I couldn't imagine anything being called a WRX or STi would be so flat sided after that whole 2008 - 2010 sleeping pill they called a WRX.
