I wanted to find a set from the 4th generation to use, but didn't want to spend 200+ on something I wasnt sure would even work. I have to get them painted as well at some point.

I've been debating on that, but not sure if it will look a bit much after rear spats and front lip. I do know I need tint though

5th gens are like a pear shaped girl. The lip and spat is on the big part. You need to balance it out.

Does it need a lip on the hood? Meh, up to you but it will definately benefit from one on the rear window from what I've seen. Take a look at Black05gt's red 5th gen. Sexy. Also cheap and available already paint matched. what a deal.

I actually just saw a picture of it a few minutes ago, that I do like. It's very basic and not "In your face".
