i want to change steering wheel but cant due to shift padles and cruise controls....man what to do? any opinions?

I think there are a couple in this thread which let you keep the controls. Problem is they're like $700.

holy crap!!!! i just like to have a vip steering wheel with nrg slim release. but that 700 is just plain retarted.

How about re-wrapping it? RedLine goods has some nice wraps and can even add extra padding to make it thicker.

So there was no question to buy one for my GT. Not a perfect picture:

It looks great! Actually I almost bite the bullet more than two weeks ago when I purchased a used TEIN lowering spring for my leggy, the guy was also selling his DAMD steering wheel for about USD580 used for only 4 months. However I'm keeping funds for my soon to arrived 19in rim. If this is still available in a month or two, I will probably get this too! The one being sold is wrapped in black leather with red thread.
