So there's a wireless backup cam installed. It's a Peak Performance PKC0RB.
Transmitter mounted in the trunk.
Black to black vampire clamp on reverse light.
Red goes up towards the front of the car and presumably into one of these fuse taps.
It's got a cheesey suction cup display and that's not working. Tried all variations of lights on/off, brightness setting, in reverse, etc. No signal. So not sure if unit is dead or wiring is bad. Was going to keep it if it worked, but since it's not was thinking of doing the nav hack and feeding a new cam signal to that, this wireless one doesn't seem to have a standard video out.
But wait there's more.
There's also a boost gauge so I presume the other tap is for that.
What is this cylindrical thing? It's zip tied on there so presume not stock.
Also whole reason I went looking in here was to install the tapturn flasher module. However, I can't get my fingers up in there. Tried unclipping the board to pull it down but the curved metal member there doesn't allow enough clearance to get it out off the clip then down. Maybe if I pulled out the top two rows of modules I could...but this is supposed to be a 1/5 difficulty install so I must be missing something.
And the other mystery. 3.5mm jack running out by the aux-in. I tested the whole quiet track on a cd deal to see if it was Jazzy and does not appear to be. Any other ideas?
