And liked it. I have to temper the excitement because our 2011 has 39k, but the 13 didn't sway as much and had a firmer ride. The engine had a subtly louder mechanical noise. The tranny was a bit quieter. I liked the pattern on the interior seats. The front clip is better looking, though not much.
Comparing a car with 39k to a brand new car isn't really fair. The changes are good....just hard to tell without driving a brand new 2012. Didnt want to yank the salesmans chain too much.

Yes it is nice and the improvements help. Wish they would have got more power from the engine redesign. The 13 seems small amount faster, but could be that was quieter being new. Congrats on the new car and be sure to post pics.

The Toyota is strong in the new Legacy's!
The front bumper is nicer too.

I had the same turanzas on my 2010 civic and they weren't bad until 25k miles when they just slid in packed snow.

I sense some jealousy in the 4th gens who like their quirkiness.

Yeah, the Legacy is becoming more mainstream...but still a subaru with all wheel drive. The minor appearance changes are for the better. The engine swap reduces preventive maintenance costs even though it doesn't really boost power. I had a european sedan with the same styling cues as the 4th gen legacy...and it was dated. The 4th gen is retro. Old school. No auto companies are styling cars using the same ideas as the 4th generation Legacy. Granted the changes aren't that significant, but they help Subaru sell cars....because people like em.

I'm still kicking around getting a 13, I'm kinda use to the soft ride, they are gonna give me $17000 for mine, and knocking $2014 off the sticker on a 2.5 prem with awp.I love the new twighlight blue, not sure if I want to lose what I paid off on mine.

I do admit the front looks better, and interior is nicer.
