Just curious whether they wear out similar to stock or last significantly longer. If you reply, probably best to reply with what spring you are running as well.

Had mine on for 2.5 years, still going strong. Running on stock GRF springs.

Koni inserts into stock strut bodies, spring perch chopped off. Add Ground Control threaded perches and smaller top-hats to allow fitment of regular 3" diameter (maybe 2.5", can't remember) springs as usually fitted to coilovers. Basically a homebrew coilover type suspension kit.

They do eventually wear out. I had them on my Mustang many years ago and went through a couple sets. The beauty of Koni stuff is, just call them up, fax a copy of your receipt and they ship you out replacements. They are next up in my purchase list for me as my stock struts are getting awfully bouncy.

Yup, we've replaced a few of them after about150k miles for custys. They do carry a lifetime warranty so that is a bonus.

We have only attempted to warranty leaking or clunking ones. I'm not sure they would replace ones that "feel" worn out. At 75k I highly doubt they are any different than when new, placebo effect perhaps.

i don't think they are necessarily worn out. they still work work just fine. i just don't think they are 100% as when new. i just feel that OEM stuff should be on the way out at that mileage, so its just at the back of my mind about how long they'll last.
