Hello,

I couldn't find any help searching through the threads.

I'm in the process in re-installing my Factory radio. Aftermarket radio was installed by a friend of mine who moved to another state. I already removed the aftermarket double din radio and re wired everything as is.

I have a Subaru legacy 2010 no navigation

What I need help is screwing the radio back in place.
Here is my radio.

Now this is the bracket on the radio that has to be screwed on.

My questions is,
How do I screw this so that my radio can stay in place?
I might be missing a piece buy I'm not sure what?

If I am missing something Where can I order it? I don't mind buying a whole new bracket?

Please help.
Thanks in advance for any help.

That metal bracket is for the aftermarket radio. The oem head unit on my 2011 has 4 tabs which the screws go through to hold it into the dash mounting points.

Are the 2010 head units any different?

Edit; I just installed my aftermarket head unit a little over a month ago. I will look at the mounting points on the oem unit.

You need to go to Subaru and order the brackets. That's the only thing that will work.

Here is a picture of my OEM head unit with the mounting bracket still attached (opposite side of head unit is mirror image).

Like Jace said, if these brackets have been misplaced, you will need to make a trip to the Subaru dealer.

Also on my dash mount there is only one location in each side to inset 2 screws. I will have to look again maybe I missed it.
