I searched but only found f/s threads, no fixes. Sorry if I missed it and it's up here already.

I recently purchased the car and the wheel came like this, ie the leather is separating. My idea is to clean the metal wheel best I can, then apply gorilla glue to bond the leather to the wheel. I think I should use zip ties to hold the leather tight to the wheel/ apply pressure until the glue cures then I will cut them off. So what do you guys think? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hope it works out. If not you can always get the Redline Goods steering wheel wrap made for that wheel Luckily mine hasn't separated that far!

the gorilla glue might give you a temporary fix, could always take it an upholstery shop, but at that point might as well buy a used wheel.
