Seems hard to find and expensive... Grainger carries it, but at a whopping $13 a quart... ouch...
I am guessing it's an ester based synthetic, hence the price... other ester based synthetics are around that cost per qt. ($11+/qt) but with a bit more of a track record... would be neat to use a USA made oil, though...

Considering how many rebates there are to get it for free, I agree, not worth the price.
