I know the HVAC turns off the compressor or whatever under heavy boost so it doesn't sap power. Today my HVAC (like front defrost area) started making a tight sounding fart noise when this happens. Going to take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say but figured I'd ask the experts here first. I went ahead and made a quick vid so you can hear it.

Sounds like that one coupling on the throttle body or intercooler that's known to blow off at higher boost levels. It's easy to remove. No need to go to the dealer.

Just pulled the IC and confirmed the coupling. Removed it from both ends.

I took mine off a couple weeks ago when I had the IC off. Definitely a weak link. Takes < 10 minutes to remove.

My brother is having this issue with his 2012 LGT, we are going to fix it tonight. Did you guys just remove that piece inside the TB hose?

Does this also reference to the 05-09?
My car sounds similar to that video. Yet I lose no power. I only hear it in boost.

Just did this today, minus a couple of chunks from my fingers. Took me a bit of time trying to put it back together, probably a good thing to take a picture or remember how the hose goes back on.
