SOLD
Like stated I have a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited up for sale. It's regal blue pearl and currently has slightly less then 125k on the clock. I bought the car with the engine apart and was diagnosed with bad head gaskets. The customer decided once the engine was apart and the issue was found that they didn't want to pay to have it put back together and wanted to trade it in to buy a new car. I couldn't pass the deal up and purchased it. This car is damn clean for the year and mileage. I was actually debating keeping it but would rather drive my boring auto TL every day.
Year, Make and Model: 2006 legacy gt limited
Color: regal blue
Miles: 124,641
Transmission: 5 speed
Title: in hand
Lien: none
Location: audubon, pa
VIN: 4S3BL676366211874
Seller's email address: boss2315@msn.com
Asking Price: $12,000
Some quick basic numbers and new parts.
Front brakes 8/32
Rear brakes 7/32
Tires 8/32
New front control arm bushings
New clutch
New piston rings
Battery maybe 6 months old
Timing belt and tensioner under 5k old
I should probably add that I checked the turbo as well. Exhaust housing was bone dry and there was next to zero shaft play. Felt like a new factory turbo shaft to me and no damage to fins.
I decided to pull the pistons to determine if there was any other type of issue like a cracked ringland. Pistons looked good but had some carbon deposits built up. I soaked it in some seafoam and let it sit for a week before I scrubbed up the pistons. I just so happen to have had a set of rings laying around so I put on brand new rings.
Has a basically brand new oem clutch. Must have only been on for a few thousand miles or so.
Flywheel even still has the grooves in it. That's how new it is. lol
Got the car up and running and had the guys in detail give it the full boat. Came out amazing. Car has the basic 125k type damage to it body wise.
Pretty much only issue body wise besides a couple door dings. This is the front bumper below the driver side headlight.

Interior. I have Subaru All Weather Mats for it.
Driver seat obviously was the dirtiest of all the seats. This was the best they could do.
ebrake boot looks a little worn
Car runs great, pulls damn good for a stock legacy. This car showed no signs of previous modification. Transmission shifts smooth as butter no grinds.
Serious inquiries only. Asking $12k Price is negotiable but honestly you're not going to find a gt in this kind of condition. Also you have the peace of mind that the pistons have fresh rings and they were meticulously cleaned out and freshly sealed up. NO LEAKS!!!

Hopefully this is better for the site. I left what I wrote in between the original posted pictures so hopefully you can match up the pictures with the captions if needed.

Hmm kind of an odd rule. Don't think I've seen that on any forum I've ever been on. I'll have to upload them when I get home to my computer.

Odd how?
everything is right above your post here http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...re-155552.html
pics not loaded directly to the forum can be removed later leaving no record of the condition of vehicle. this rule in place to protect buyer and seller.
same for the other info. I don't see how that's odd. browse the cars for sale section you'll see that everyone does it the same way

It is an odd rule because other forums don't do it. As he said, he has never seen it on any other forum ever. I wonder if the you even read his post about why it was odd or if your reading comprehension is not working the way you think it is.
Yes, this forum has it, and i happen to think it is a great rule, but referencing the other posts on this forum does not make the rule less odd. On that note i think i will actually suggest copying this rule on RS25 and make it less odd.
Supraru, we already discussed price for the LGT so this will just be a bump for you and your sexy GC.

Other forums have Bad Guy or Bad Seller sections too. Note we do not. Protects us from the scammers out there and boy are they out there.
On the "reading comprehension" comment OP did NOT read the rules and regs himself. And FYI this gets asked at least once a week by posters NOT READING themselves. This type of comment belongs on Nabisco. Oh wait, they have a Bad Guy/Scammer section....

Only odd to those who don't respect other members' money and time. I'm on a dozen or more sites for Subie/Mitsu/DSM and too old to mention ( ie cranky ). Waaaay less drama, attitude, and rip-offs here.

GC?!? Unless OP has another car FS Subaru calls them BL/BP.
Now that I've mucked up the OP's thread I'll exit.
