I tried searching but can't find what I need. I remember reading on here about being able to access some inner menu to change settings. Thanks for any help.

Are you talking about the Subaru select tool? If so you'll need to shell out a few grand and open your own dealership or go to a dealership.

The only extra setting I know of is to use the steering wheel channel +/- while in a call over Bluetooth for mic. gain.

So if you hit the menu button it will bring you to all the settings you need. I think that is what you are referring too?

I thought I saw something about some advanced settings and I requiring a sequence of buttons to be pushed to bring it up. I think I'm mistaking this for something else. Sorry for the pointless thread.

No I'm thinking of something else. I've done research and I am just losing my mind. Disregard this thread. I got confused with something else.
