Well, it all started with an obsession for Lezbi-Wagon. First there was my '01 Outback, with its monster truck like stance, clunky transmission, and that engine that begged me to wring it out between gear changes. I fell in love with the off-road readiness, the pseudo-luxury interior, and that teenager dirty time space in the back. ERM I mean versatility!

I knew for about 3 years that I wanted a Legacy GT before I finally found my current love, Walter. I spend countless hours on this forum researching mods, tips, and all the fun one can have with a turbo. Since LGT wagons were impossible to find with a manual I figured Id end up with a OBXT. I had a bookmark folder on my Chrome browser containing 26 links to mods I planned to do. Needless to say I was ready.....

That is until I was at the dealer talking things and saw an '05 Legacy on their inventory list. Not wanting to get my hopes up, I asked where it was on the lot. They pointed out the back window to their service bay where an Atlantic Blue Pearl Legacy GT ltd. wagon 5/MT sat freshly traded in. I went around back to find a dirty, unloved unicorn waiting to come home with me.

Being a fan of Breaking Bad, Walter seemed like a very good name for my new car. During the day he's just your typical Subie leszbi-wagon, but when boost kicks in he turns into HEIZENBURG. Probably over thinking that one....

But wait! Walter is a male name, yet is obviously a lesbian? So Walter must be a post-op FTM transsexual.

Walter and I met on November 23, 2012. We've been a happy couple since.

(Picture of the day we met)

Current Mods (mostly just cosmetics):
1. DRL Disable
2. Cleared Headlights
3. '09 All-in-one Key+Remote
4. OEM Front License Bracket
5. Rear Cargo Nets
6. Prosport Dead Pedal + WRX Aluminum Pedals
7. Momo Shift Knob
8. '08 Clear Tailights
9. DIY Short Throw Shifter
10. Plastidip'd Fog light surrounds, mirror caps, & rims.
11. Stage 2 LED Interior + License Lights
12. 6000k HID Low Beams

Walter came with the extremely illegal tint and the superb grill.

Cleared my headlights today! Thank you to Rexmobbin' for help! Only got confused once with how to get wires out of holes, but that was simply because Ive never changed headlights on this car.

Tackled a few things on top of the clearing. I found out that one of my housings was cracked where a support branches off, had to epoxy it shut and silicone the hell out of it. Closed the peeper hole such as bboygreddy did, the cutoff looks so much better, even with Silverstars in, found out how easy it is to lose those stupid pop-its (Thank god I work at a hardware store and get them at pennies cost). Also I got the wild idea to Plastidip the fog light surrounds black to match my grill and lower air dam.

The best thing I did today was learn just how curious Portlanders are. I live downtown in a pretty busy area, and did the entire process while parked on the street. Not only do you get the crazy looks, but I swear the process took an hour longer because of how many times I had to stop and answer questions (and run back into my apartment to get tools I missed).

Found out the first rule of modding via an online forum: Read the ENTIRE post before attempting. Oh well, guess who has '08+ clear tail lights!

The only time I've been to our local cars and coffee, there were more legacies than WRX's. Crazy, I know.
