We need more information.
Have you done any work to the car recently?
Is the check engine light on?

You need to find out why the check engine light is on. Hook a scanner up to it and that will point you in the right direction.
Just cause its an old car doesn't mean that light should be on.

So now the car will crank and it appears the battery is good bc the radio is working and holding the stations
I have heard you can test the starter by hooking jumper cable directly to the starter screw and start it and it will tell you if you have a bad starter
ANY THOUGHTS?
I also wonder if it is the fuel pump?

Have you had the code pulled as suggested first? The check engine light should not be on regardless.

If it turns over then the starter is good.
Go pull the codes. Until then, nobody can help you.
