Old car and new car together the day I bought the Red Wagon
I promptly switched wheels and sold the WRX.
I had the car about two weeks before I installed the up and down pipe w/ a Cobb accessport.
Bought some spare struts for the Koni install. Painted them red and did a photo shoot
Found a good set of Stop-Techs, in black of course.

Pre FMIC set-up.
FMIC install
Recent pic in the snow
Recent engine bay shot

Very nice
I like what you did with your bumper for the FMIC, that looks sharp.
You still planning on running E85 with the 18G?

I am planning on running E85.
I went to Cobb Plano a month ago for a dual-fuel tune. It was then that I discovered:
A) my wastegate actuator on my NEW 18G was very weak (cracking open at 5 psi)
B) My injector duty cycle was at 70% on 91 octane, which indicated a fueling issue of some sort.
Given these two issues, I was unable to tune for E85 at that time.
I have been working on my fueling issues and I have an upgraded wastegate acuator sitting on my desk ready to be installed. I am also in posession of new o-rings for my DW 65c, which I am going to replace to eliminate that as an issue. In the mean time I replaced my FPR with an aftermarket one. I also re-wired the fuel pump and am running 13.2 volts to the pump at 100% Fuel Pump Duty cycle. As a result of these changes I am seeing AFR's of 9.9-10.1 at WOT in 3rd gear. I just want to make sure I am ready to go when I go back down to Plano.

Shawn,
Is that another Samco Rad hose? Do we share fitment with 08+ WRX or similar (upper/lower)? I know you had some in viper red and TeriyakiBBS is working on getting a larger Samco offering going for our platform and he was able to make their BPV recirc line work. I'm a huge Samco fan and when I pull the trigger on replacing rad hoses would prefer Samco to other options.

I may be wrong but I believe we share radiator hose and the radiator itself with the 08+ WRX. At least for the manual trans.

So all you changed was a "hot wiire" off the alternator to the pump and your AFR went to 10.0? What was your AFR and volts @ WOT before? I know a "hot wire" fuel pump system is the way to go, I had the same setup on my old '01 Camaro SS with a Walboro 255. I didn't however do a before and after AFR because I did a forged shortblock, worked LS6 heads, cam, full exhaust, intake, injectors, and nitrous all at once lol.

This is probably my favorite car on the site. A wagon with no nonsense and effective performance mods with a couple subtle exterior mods is just my style. Well done.

Dang that is a sweet looking wagon!! I'm not a huge fan of the chrome around the grill but other than that bad@##. I really like the 2.5 badge on the alternator shroud.
