This doesnt include the transmission right?

would this be a good swap with my 2.5 L engine?
worth the money also?

Harness is cut though, does that mean i need to purchase another?

No, that doesn't include the trans. I was looking at ej20gs and there were quite a few that came with 5MT for about the same price. They are great engines though.

For that particular engine (or just about any turbo swap) the wiring will a lot of work. The wiring is slightly different on JDM engines from what I have been told, so you will probably have to use a standalone engine management system to get it to work. You could also try and find a complete harness and ecu but I don't know if that would be the best way to go. Keep looking on ebay, you can find the engine, trans, harness, and ecu as a package. Look at some EJ20Gs.

Because of the above mentioned issues, I would recommend doing a wrx swap if you have to have a turbo. Parts are a lot easier to find and plentiful. Keep in mind that you will need a complete new exhaust, a stronger transmission than your stock trans, new axles, maybe a custom driveshaft, etc. Read the turbo sticky at the top of the page if you haven't already.

I am slowly working on a wrx hybrid swap, the main difference is that I will be using a 22T block instead of the 205.
