Turbo Upgrades for the LGT

TDC Tuning

Recommended Posts

hi guys and gals!!

We here @ TDC Tuning are working on gettin a NEW BOLTON turbo

Upgrade going for the LGT.

The turbo is Bigger than a VF34 and 16G

but has the same spool characteristics.

More details will be coming

but since you are local i decided to gauge interest locally first

First Available will be the upgraded turbo and Custom TDC Fmic kit

(will not bolt to stock cooler)

The turbo would require some form of bigger injectors....

We MOD the 480cc side feeds to 816cc's (like perrin does)

same day turn around

We are Accessport Pro tuners, we tune Utec, Hydra, and almost anything else.

IF anyone is interested in the setup

Here it is

FMIC kit:

- ALL aluminum charge piping

- Big (not HUGE) FMIC (bar and plate OR Tube and fin your choice)

- All couplers and T-bolt clamps needed

- RECIRC hoses for BOV

Turbo:

- Bolt-on to up pipe and intake and DP

- ability to hold boost higher (and it flows more)

Setup will be BOLT ON and ill have a base map available for it soon as well

Man, I would love to do this, but seeing as I'm not local. :(

Any thoughts on working with a local shop here in CO? Thanks.

Co is NOT a problem for this kit

I have someone there that can install it in no time

TDC Tuning whats "your" eta. e.g Could someone drive up their tomm and just have it put in that day?

My eta is i need about a week to get all the parts together

and i can fabricate the whole kit in one day

These are hand made by me (tig welded alum) from the core to the pipes

here is an example of a gt35R kit i did

Steve, brother, I'm super jealous.

I'll never get to that level of mods with Winky - you definitely are making me green with envy. :D

Tell me this can be done in California and I'll gladly dish out the green! At least set me up with a fmic if it can be set up with the stock turbo. I wouldn't mind bolting on that snail with modded injectors and a custom map for my a.p. at that price! Let me know about the feasibility of a California car being done up properly!

Will you guys sell the FMIC kit separately? For what ballpark price? Can it be made to mate with the flange connection built into the compressor housing of the stock VF40 turbo? Or is it designed only to work with WRX/STi style turbos with clamped compressor exit? Same question about the BOV flange. Is your FMIC designed to fit the stock Legacy BOV "diamond" flange or only fit aftermarket BOVs for WRX/STIs?

Same question about getting work done in California. Do you guys have an affiliate shop out West? Just curious at this point.
