Brian's '05 Legacy GT

Well, it's about that time finally. I'm ALMOST at the point of 'finished', but I guess we all never are. I've compiled a bunch of pictures over the past couple years of each and every modification. I'd like to post up what my LGT has been through from my first day of ownership to this very day. I'll give captions and mini-descriptions for every picture. Hope you guys enjoy! I'll keep updating with each new mod.

First good, heavy cleaning. This is a Copart car (bad move) and highly un-taken care of.


Found out the engine/turbo is blown. Got a brand new EJ255, got the heads completely refinished, new VF40, '08+ STI oil pump, KillerB pickup tube, and the other misc. necessary parts.



Dad trying to figure something out after the oil pump was installed lol. None of this was possible without him. Love you, pops!





Next began many mods down the road. Full stage 2, AVO TMIC, yada yada. Most notable upgrades - Stromung CBE, RalliTek springs on KYB Excel-G struts, 17x7.5 Sparco Assetto Gara wheels, and extra stock wingless trunk.

How she sits today:





Next mods up: JDM Genome grill (coming), WRX replica polyurethane eBay lip (waiting), zag300zx tail tint (have), front bumper repaint/color match lip, and HOPING for '06 chrome housing headights one day.

Although not noticeable, the car still has various door dings, light key scratches, roof hail looking damage, and little interior abuse, but i'm working on getting the body in perfect shape eventually.

I have many more pictures, but these pictures showed what this car has gone through since day 1.

To-Do List:
- Tomei Equal Length Headers
- RacerX FMIC w/custom piping
- Rebuild 5EAT + HexMods F1 Valve Body
- Dyno Tune (EFI Logics, Bren Tuning, or Area1320)

Where'd you find the rallitek springs? I don't see them on the rallitek website. Love the stance they give.

Love the rims as well, considering them in 18" for my SpecB but can't decide on color....too many choices.

Scored the RalliTek's used from a member here almost a year ago I believe. They do give a great stance and a pretty comfortable ride as well!

Thanks for the wheel compliments also! I wanted 18's but i'm very happy with the 17's.. Saving tire money and still looking good! The '07 SpecB's are all DGM right? I think a simple silver Assetto Gara will look great!

OMG (did I just say 'omg'?), i'm so jealous of your car, 01rs25. You've made me want 06/07 chrome, cleared headlights for the longest time. Sick new wheel choice by the way. Thanks a lot for the comment too.

Personally I prefer the 05 headlights on the darker color cars (RBP, OBP, DGM). Replacement of that "lip" and the Genome grill you bought (before I could) are really going to round out your ride. Looking forward to pics installed.

In these pictures, they do like really appealing but I don't know. I'm all for my current headlights then I want the chrome ones. I'm so picky with this car lol.

You were on the Genome grill too huh? I knew I had to snag it fast. The lip will be coming soon when I get the bumper repainted and lip color matched.
