Im looking into doing control arm bushings on my 05 lgt. Im looking at the prothane master kit with all the front control arm bushings and steering rack bushings for just over $100. The question i have is are the prothane lower rear control arm bushings a good upgrade or should i spend the extra on whiteline ones or somthing else?
From what I have read, poly is poly. Either is an upgrade over the stock rubber ones. I would just go with the Prothane and call it a day. Use the extra money saved to buy some new tools to help with the install
There good. Theres a big difference. The control arm bushings definetly made the feel of the steering and front end have a much better feel and it doesnt have caster bump anymore. I also sense got torque solutions drive shaft carrier bearing mounts and they helped drive line movement. I also got hotchkis sway bars and new endlinks and it now handles and feels tighter then my s2000
