Hello. I am looking to get into a 5MT LGT wagon and live in Lynnwood, WA. Currently drive a 97 impreza wagon with WRX swap that has been a project since college. I love the car but it will always be a slightly beat up rattle box unless I go full retard with it. Looking forward to a car that is a bit bigger and nicer all around. My goal with the car will be to build a high performing comfortable driver that I can use for taking to the mountain and biking. Stalking the FS: section for parts already.... rampant reduction in $avings contributions to ensue.

Welcome. Wagons are like the Holy Grail. I looked for a long time before I stumbled onto my LGT. Got mine for a good price because the engine was blown. Worked out for me because I was planning to mod it anyway.

Thanks guys. Yeah I am realizing quickly how tough they are to find. Willing to wait for the right car and travel a bit if necessary so hopefully something pops up. Putting my Impreza up for sale next week and have a 98 civic to drive until I find one.

Things are looking really good for an out of state car. I am flying out to seal the deal end of this coming week.

I found one! You may recognize it as Bigjweb's car. I flew to Denver and met him and had the car shipped back to WA. He is a great guy and took great care of this car. I am excited to have this car as the starting point of my next project.

I paid $700 to ship it from CO to here. Lots of quotes between $650 and $900. Estimate gas cost was $510 and would take two days plus miles on the car. It was a good option.

that's not bad at all. thought it'd at least be 1k. totally worth it to have your options expanded to other states.

Great car, I saw that FS on here a bit ago. Did you buy it with all the mods, or did it go back to stock. And what are your plans for it.

I bought it with the mods Performance plans will be to get it tuned for sea level and 92 octane, switch the OBX exhaust to a prodrive or something equally as subtle. It will be fast enough at that point to keep me satisfied. I have whiteline steering rack bushings and cobb short shifter in the mail right now. I am on the group buy for retrofit HID right now. I have a set of sandblasted brembo front brakes, a grimmspeed MC brace, and stainless lines. Over the summer I am going to get a set of brembo rears, blast those, powdercoat the calipers to match, rebuild them and get them on the car with an STI booster/MC. Suspension will also come in the summer, and not sure what route I am going to take there yet. Once that is done, next year will be interior and exterior stuff. The goal is to have a really clean and quick street car that I can also use for biking, snowboarding, camping, etc. I am really excited for this car.My project for the last few years is for sale right now. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2477892
